Does OCR upload my file?+
No. Recognition runs in your browser. The language model (a few MB) downloads once and is then cached.
How accurate is it?+
Clean scans at around 300 DPI give the best results. Blurry photos and handwriting may contain errors.
Will the page look different?+
No — the text layer is invisible and sits exactly over the original.
